Flydubai airline has suspended flights to and from Israel while it investigates a stabbing incident on board of one of its planes.
The plane was flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv, when a co-pilot reportedly attacked the pilot, causing the aircraft to plummet 17 thousand feet in two minutes.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered a “ramp up” in security on both Israeli and non-Israeli carriers following the incident.
Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid reports.
